Neillsville, every Monday from 2:30 - 4:00pm at the Clark County Courthouse, Room 105.

Greenwood, first Wednesday of the month from 5:30 - 6:30pm at the Greenwood Fire Hall.

Greenwood Attractions


The Greenwood area offers wonderful fishing, hunting, swimming, camping, snowmobiling, ATV trails and other outdoor activities for year round enjoyment. Summer festivals include Dairy Days, Butterland Jubilee and a Main Street Dance.

Fishing Spots


Greenwood is fortunate to have the Black River flow through the city. The Black River holds an assortment of fish including walleye, small mouth bass, northern pike, muskie and crappies.

Mead Lake, located 12 miles west of Greenwood, holds muskie, walleye, pan fish, and large mouth bass.

Rock Dam, located 17 miles west of Greenwood, is mainly home to pan fish with a few trout streams flowing nearby.

 

Hunting


Clark County has an abundant wildlife population, holding approximately 133,000 acres of county forest, cropland, and recreation land available for hunting whitetail deer, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, grouse, pheasant, geese, ducks, fox, brush wolf, and coyote.

Camping


The Greenwood area is home to three campgrounds.

Greenwood Park and Campground is located along the Black River and has 14 campsites available. The park provides fishing access, electricity, drinking water, picnic and play areas, bathroom facilities, and shelters. For more information please visit  Greenwood Park & Campground.

Mead Lake Park and Campground is located 12 miles west of Greenwood and is home to 71 campsites. The park provides electricity, a shower house, a boat launch, fishing, an R.V. dump station, drinking water, shelters, firewood, play and picnic areas. Rock Dam Park and Campground is located 17 miles west of Greenwood and contains 150 campsites. The park provides ATV trail access, shower facilities, a swimming beach, a boat launch, laundry facilities, a convenience store, a sanitary dump station, drinking water, electric and water hookups.
